Hair loss is a common condition and there are numerous amounts of products available to prevent hair loss, treat hair loss and even re-grow hair, this can all be taken care of with many natural treatments. One such treatment is Procerin, an all natural tablet or hair serum to prevent hair loss and stimulate growth.

As hair loss is such a common condition, many individuals are looking to prevent hair loss and to regrow hair. There are natural remedies available to prevent future hair loss.

Procerin is an all natural supplement that can reverse hair loss.

Young Man Combing His Hair

Procerin is available in a topical solution or in tablet form. To explain how this supplement work, you should know a little bit about hair loss. The medical term for hair loss is called alopecia. Men suffering from alopecia may have elevated levels of the hormone dihydrotestosterone (or DHT) in their scalp. DHT is actually a form of male testosterone. When the testosterone is converted to DHT in the scalp, hair loss occurs. Procerin is made especially for men, so it can specifically target the testosterone production.

With Procerin, the transformation of the DHT is stopped, which leads to a prevention of hair loss. As Procerin is a natural treatment, it does not react with the testosterone and does not have sexual side effects, which are problems with the regular prescription medications.

Along with the prevention of hair loss, Procerin can increase hair growth. As men age, their hair loss progresses, Procerin effectively treats men with thinning hair or a receding hairline.

With Procerin, you will need to use the product for at least a month or two to have significant results. A normal person’s hair only grows about one-half an inch per month. If you are looking for fast results, you can try using the Procerin tablets and the Serum. You will continue use until you have the results you desire. Depending on the person, you might need to continue use. As you age, the Procerin may need to be used to help counteract any loss.

Procerin is a two-part solution to male hair loss. Procerin tablets contain all-natural, powerful DHT blockers that have been proven in studies to be successful. Along with the tablets, there is a Procerin XT Topical Serum, which contains powerful hair growth stimulating compounds that have been clinically proven to assist in the regrowth of hair. When the two are used together, Procerin tablets and XT serum are successful in preventing hair loss and regrowing hair.

As for side effects, there are virtually none. Most prescription medications have side effects, including sexual side effects. This does not occur with Procerin use. A small majority of men did report stomach discomfort, which was resolved when the medication was taken with food. If you have sensitive skin, you should test an area of your scalp for a reaction before undergoing a complete treatment. Procerin does not have any harsh chemicals, so there should be no complications there.

Stress, lack of iron or protein from an unbalanced diet, medicine and improper hair care can all contribute to hair loss may be prevented. Avoiding certain medicines, reducing stress, getting adequate protein and iron in your diet, and using hairstyles that do not damage your hair may reduce or prevent hair loss.

Stress plays a large role in hair loss. Not only can it be a direct cause but it can also lead to the development of conditions where hair loss is a symptom or side effect. There are many stress-induced conditions that include depression, obesity, sleep issues, autoimmune diseases and heart disease, just to name a few. Finding activities that help lower your stress during the day will lower your risk of losing hair or losing more hair. Even better would be to change your daily routine to involve less stress not only to prevent hair loss but for your general well-being as well.

Young Woman Combing Her Hair

Lack of iron and protein especially has also been linked to hair loss. The easiest way to remedy this is to take a good look at your diet. Are you eating complete meals? Are your food choices well-rounded or do you tend to choose what will be the easiest or fastest to make and eat? Changing this habit as well as your sleep patterns is the key in restoring hair loss. You need a proper amount of sleep each night to help your body function correctly and to aid with maintaining your hair’s natural growth, resting and falling out stages. By keeping your body healthy, you also avoid any illnesses that can also trigger hair loss.

Certain prescriptions and over-the counter medicines are also known to cause hair loss. The list is very long but it includes blood thinners, thyroid prescriptions, birth control and antidepressants. Talking with your doctor about your concerns will allow him to provide you with alternative options like reducing your dose or changing your prescription altogether.

Hair can be lost to improper care. If you over style your hair, abuse it with blow dryers and irons or the big one, coloring your hair too often, you could be at risk for some major fall out. Hair should not be colored any more often than every six to eight weeks and you should avoid it altogether if possible. While hair coloring won’t make everyone’s hair fall out, it does do damage and you will have healthier hair in general if you don’t color it. Try not to stretch your hair into styles that require a lot of strain on your roots such as cornrows, tight braids or buns. Blow drying your hair can dry it out and cause it to break while irons can burn the hair. Whenever possible, try to find a style that doesn’t require an iron, dry your hair naturally and keep your hair trimmed and properly conditioned to prevent hair loss and ultimately keep your hair healthy.

There are a few hair loss prevention shampoos especially designed for women out there as well as creams, such as Rogaine, that can aid in healthy hair and its growth. You can also massage your scalp to stimulate blood flow and get those roots producing again. The best way to prevent hair loss is to take a look at your lifestyle. Hectic, stressful schedules, improper diet and sleep, certain pharmaceuticals and lack of good hair care are all major contributing factors. By changing these components, you instantly reduce your chances of further hair loss. If you still notice your hair thinning or falling out more than usual, consult your doctor for a proper diagnosis and additional options for prevention of further loss and opportunities for growing back what you have already lost.

The answer to that question is very simple: yes! Your doctor can be extremely helpful when it comes to hair loss. Sometimes we experience hair loss because of a medical condition or illness, dietary issues or even from an infection. In these cases, simple changes or medications can make a big difference in someone’s life.

How Normal is Hair Loss?

Everyone loses hair every day. Most people lose between 50 and 100 strands per day. This can sometimes be because hair loss runs in the family or is genetic. If hair loss is genetic in your family, you may lose a lot more hair than the average person.

Doctor Talking to Patient

Other factors can contribute to hair loss too, such as medications and certain illnesses. Either one can cause more hair loss than normal. Hair loss can be extremely tough for some individuals, because it can so drastically change the way a person looks.

Causes of Hair Loss

Causes of hair loss are important, because some of them can be prevented. Whether it has to do with heredity, stress or something else, if you can do something to prevent or stop the hair loss, you’ll be much better in the long run. This is where your family doctor may come in handy. Sometimes your doctor can help determine exactly why you are losing your hair and can help you fix the problem.

Common Causes of Hair Loss Include:

Heredity: In most cases, hair loss is inherited. That means that it is passed down from one or both of the individual’s parents. In these cases, it is called male or female-pattern baldness.

Stress: This includes stress from illness, physical stress from surgery and a high fever associated with illness.

Chemotherapy: Can also cause hair loss. It is a powerful medicine used in cancer treatment that can destroy cancer cells.

Damage from Hairstyles: You can damage your hair by pulling at too tightly with tight braids and ponytails. Constantly wearing these types of hairdos can cause too much tension on your hair, which may cause damage or breakage.

If you think you may be suffering from hair loss or thinning hair, you must first decide whether or not your hair loss is unusual. Learn to identify your diagnosis:

Is your hair just thinner?

Is your “part” wider?

Is your hairline receding or different in some way?

Are there any bald spots or patches, which appeared recently?

Does thinning hair or hair loss run in your family?

If you are having problems with thinning hair, talk with your hairstylist first. There are some very normal reasons why your hair may be thinning and your hairstylist can be of help in figuring out why. If your hairstylist isn’t helpful, speak to your doctor, or do a combination of both. Your doctor can help you determine if your hair loss is a result of something you’re doing, your dietary habits or an illness or disease.

Hair loss is common and there are treatment options at numerous locations across the country. The Hair Club is a company specializing in hair loss treatments. They begin with an analysis and treatment options, which determines the best treatment for you.

Hair loss is such a common condition that there are many treatment solutions, including the Hair Club. Hair loss affects 35 million men and 21 million women in the United States only. There are Hair Club locations throughout the country that are there to develop personal solutions for you.

Woman combing hair

Start your hair loss treatment with a free hair and scalp analysis.

Hair loss is mostly a genetic condition. The most common cause of hair loss is a buildup of dihydrotestosterone. This chemical builds up in the hair follicles, essentially clogging and killing the hair follicles and preventing hair from growing.

At the Hair Club, you can start with a hair and scalp analysis to determine what your best options for treatment would be. This beginning analysis is a 250 dollar value that you can get for free. There are many other options to pursue that can help prevent further loss and may help with some re-growth.

One possible treatment is a non-surgical treatment called the Bio-Matrix Hair Replacement. It actually begins with an examination of your scalp and hair looking at the crown of your head, where your hair is balding or thinning. After this examination, the hair stylist will then add real human hair into your head, in the same natural way that it would grow. The hair creates an undetectable matrix of crisscrossing, transparent fibers that are shaped to specifically fit the balding and thinning areas of your head. It is supposed to be invisible from an observant.

Once your hair replacements are in place, you can have your hair cut or styled to match the new hair. As you are working with experts on hair loss, they may take into consideration your age and facial structure, to create a look that will makes you look best.

The Hair Club also offers a hair transplant procedure. This is procedure is a little different, as it is a real transplant. There are units of your hair removed from the back of your head. They are then transplanted to the front of your head or balding or thinning area. Oddly enough, when they are removed and transplanted, they will then grow normally in their new area. You may be able to have a full head of hair that looks and grows normally.

Hair Club has a different microscopic unit transfer procedure that is performed exclusively with their physicians. After your transplant, you will have access to the exclusive maintenance and monitoring programs. These after maintenance will help to ensure you receive the maximum benefits from your transplants or other procedures.

The Hair Club is a very popular choice for hair loss. You can schedule a free analysis, just to see what options are available to you.

There are many ways to prevent hair loss. There are numerous studies as to what the best prevention method is. If you opt for medications, there are two options: Propecia and Rogaine. These medications can help prevent continued hair loss.

Hair loss is common in all ages of men. Even if you do not go bald, as you age, your hair will thin. As this is such an overwhelming problem with so many men, there are continually products being produced. These products range from shampoos, conditions, vitamins, lasers and medications.

Woman's Hair Blowing in Wind

What medications are available and what do they do for you?

The two most common medications are Rogaine and Propecia.

Rogaine is a topical solution that is sold at a local drug store, a prescription is not required. It is best known to work on the top or crown of your head versus the frontal area. Rogaine is not known for growing hair, but it is able to allow you to keep the hair that you already have.

There are limited side effects with the use of Rogaine in a 2 percent solution of minoxidil. It does however require continued use. You should apply this twice a day. There is an increased strength of 5 percent solution that may be more effective; however, there are side effects with this intense solution. These side effects could include skin irritation, unwanted hair grown on the face, headaches and ankle swelling.

Another option for hair loss prevention is Propecia, another form of medication. This is a lower dose of a common medication that is normally used to treat prostate conditions in men. A prescription is required to obtain this medication. This medication is taken once per day. It has been shown to show hair loss and allows you to grow more hair, as time progresses. This medication is best used when you still have enough hair to retain.

With Propecia, there are possible side effects of sexual side effects, including decreased libido. These may disappear over time or when the medication is stopped. This treatment may be easier than Rogaine, as it simply involves taking a medication daily versus the application process involved with Rogaine.

Unfortunately, the problem with both medications is you have to continue use to continue to see results. When you stop using the above medications, your hair loss may return.

If medications are not for you, you can try natural methods or try surgical procedures. The surgical procedures may be more evasive than any other method.

One other important thing to consider with medications, if you are taking medications for other various conditions, such as thyroid medication, heart medication or any other condition, one of the side effects may be hair loss. If you are experiencing hair loss, you should check with your doctor if your medications are causing it. If it is, the hair loss may discontinue when you stop taking the medication.

Finally, if you are considering taking medications for hair loss, make sure that this medicine will not affect any of your other medications.

With the rise of pharmaceuticals as the cure-all, more people, women especially, are turning to herbal alternatives for the answer to their hair loss. Here, we discuss different price ranges in comparison to chemical options, different types of herbs and vitamins and finally we look at a couple other natural alternatives.

The cost of the various herbal remedies varies but they do seem to stay in the same price range. A good comparison would be organic food in the grocery store. While ultimately better for you health-wise, it is a bit pricier than processed food.

Aromatherapy Oil and Candles

The same goes for natural hair growth products versus chemical alternatives. The price difference is not much, but it’s enough to make you compare and contrast herbs and synthetic materials. Prices for vitamins and herbs can range anywhere from $10 to $100 or more, depending on what you are using. One popular product, Rogaine, on the other hand, can cost from $30 to $60 depending on how many months you would like the product supplied for you. Yet another option, Bosley, is much more expensive than the first two. Bosley is not something you can take or apply; rather it is a hair restoration procedure. Prices are not posted on the website because it is based on how many grafts each client needs but they do offer a $250 off coupon on their website if that gives you an idea of how much it would cost. While they do offer financing, some budgets just don’t allow that sort of expense. So, not only do you have many options to consider but you also need to figure out what your budget is to help you narrow it down appropriately.

While natural hair re-growth products are hard to find, lists of herbs and vitamins are abundant on the Internet.

The most common herbs used for hair growth are rosemary, mallow roots, artichoke leaves, catnip and parsley seeds, nettle, henna and coconut oil. Each of these herbs has special application instructions; some are massaged into the scalp, some are rinsed and some left on.

The universal vitamin in hair loss treatment seems to be vitamin B, although doctors can’t seem to figure out why. They do advise to consult with your family physician before taking it because prolonged and large amounts can be toxic. Adding a multi-vitamin to your diet is also recommended not only for the benefits of hair growth but also for regulation and to promote well-being.

Two other suggestions for promoting hair growth are diet alterations and massage.

Many types of food are suggested for re-growing hair follicles. Red meat, dried fruit, broccoli and other protein-rich foods help increase your iron levels and encourage regeneration. Eliminating pesticides and processed foods all together and switching to organic foods is a great way to ‘jump-start’ your health and increase how fast your body responds to its needs.

Another great alternative to using chemicals to grow hair is massage! Yes, you finally have an excuse to go get a massage (as if everyday stress weren’t enough of a reason already). Scalp massage stimulates the hair follicles and promotes growth by increasing the blood flow and boosting the strength of the roots.

All of these options can be daunting when it comes to avoiding chemicals to grow your hair back but if you talk to a naturopath or another medical professional, you can get some help in choosing what the right combination is for you. Going the natural route may involve more research and time on your behalf, but once you get the right mix, you will begin to see progress.

Hair loss can be common in men and women, alike. Women can lose hair with hormonal changes. If you are losing hair, there are things you can do to prevent continued loss.

Hair loss in women is more common than you would think. Women may have hereditary hair loss or may experience hair loss during menopause when their hormone levels are changing.

Woman with comb

There are ways for women to prevent hair loss. So, what can women do to prevent hair loss?

Vitamins:

One of the most important things you can do for your health and your hair loss is taking vitamins. Many women do not get enough vitamins in their diet, specifically iron, zinc, and B vitamins. These are the essential vitamins that may cause hair loss in women in particular. A standard multi-vitamin taken daily will provide the correct amounts of these vital vitamins that may be missing from your diet. One other important supplement is Omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential hair building blocks. You can take an omega-3 supplement or you can eat more fish and nuts.

Protein:

Protein deficiency can be a cause of thinning hair and female hair loss. If women are not getting enough protein in their diets, the body will cut off the protein supply to the hair.

Hair is actually considered a protein, so if your diet is lacking in protein, it will lead to thinning hair or hair loss. To add protein to your diet, you do not resort to all red meat or any for that matter, but you should watch what you are eating. Along with red meat, soy is a great source of protein, which has been linked to hair growth and hair strengthening. Additionally, other sources of non-meat sources of protein include yogurt, dairy, nuts, beans, and eggs. Your best bet is to add two servings of protein per day to help prevent hair loss.

Hair Care

Do not brush your hair while it is wet. You may do this and not even realize it is causing problems. If you wait till your hair is dry, you may immediately notice less hair loss. If you have hair that is long and easily becomes tangled, you can use a detangler or leave in conditioner. Additionally, the choice of brush is important. A wide-toothed comb is better than a hair brush and certain hair brushes of better quality may be smoother on your hair.

Alcohol Products:

Alcohol may be added to your soaps, shampoos or conditioners. It has been shown that alcohol can lead to brittle and dry hair. With this breakage, your hair may also come out at the roots. If you already have problems with hair loss, it will be vital for you to research your products for alcohol ingredients. With all natural products available in most health care products, you should easily be able to find a shampoo with no alcohol.

Finally, if you have continued hair loss and are not sure why, you should see a doctor for prevention methods. If your primary physician does not have any ideas, you can consult a dermatologist. Your hair loss could be attributed to hormonal changes or thyroid conditions, which can be easily monitored or treated by your doctor.

According to the Mayo Clinic, stress and hair loss are closely related. The most common type of stress-induced hair loss is called telogen effluvium. Both emotional and physical stress, related to pregnancy, family, severe weight loss and surgery may contribute to this condition.

Typically, the hair will grow back within a few months. Hairs may fall out suddenly and this can be very difficult to deal with. The individual may not understand what is going on or why it is happening to them. Once the emotional and/or physical stress stops or gets better, the hair will usually grow back pretty fast. This can take up to several months.

Woman exercising at home

For some individuals, intense stress can trigger a certain type of hair loss called alopecia areata. With this condition, white blood cells attack the hair follicle. When this happens, this stops the hair growth. The affected hair usually falls out within a few weeks. The hair loss will typically begin with small round patches, but can eventually spread to the whole scalp. Sometimes the body hair will be affected as well. The hair will usually grow back, however, the cycle may repeat itself.

If you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more unusual hair loss, speak with your doctor regarding the situation immediately. You may notice this when combing or brushing your hair or during washing. Sudden hair loss can be the signal of a medical condition, which requires treatment. Your doctor can make suggestions and recommendations for treatment options too.

Ways to De-Stress

Stress is a common thing for people these days. It can be difficult to figure out exactly how to unwind. It doesn’t matter if you are a man or woman, an adult, or a child, you probably need to de-stress. Some consider stress to be a silent killer.

One way to let go of stress is to read a good book. Grab a book you think you’ll enjoy and your favorite cold or warm drink. Tea works well with it or ice cold lemonade in the summertime.

Listen to music! Music is a wonderful and easy way to de-stress. Classical music is the best and most recommended music to de-stress. Consider Mozart or Beethoven. In this day and age, with portable MP3 players, it’s easier than ever to listen to music.

Exercise is also a very beneficial way to de-stress. Exercising makes people feel energized. Not only does exercise and physical fitness improve your mood, but it also improves your ego and your self esteem.

Mediation is a great way to de-stress and studies show that people who meditate live longer and healthier lives. Meditation has been proven to help in anti-aging.

Get plenty of sleep. Sleep is important. You need to be getting at least six to eight hours of sleep a day. Sleep is important, because it’s a time when our body revitalizes. If you’re not getting enough sleep, your body can’t heal and you’ll likely become very stressed out.

There are many solutions to hair loss. If you would rather opt for a temporary cover up, topical hair cover-ups are your solutions. These can be sprays, creams or actual hair particles. They are placed on your thinning hair and they reduce the balding appearance and make hair appear full. However, they will wash out after use.

Hair loss is very common in men and women. Due to the commonality, there are numerous products to treat hair loss.

Two Jars of Hair Product

One product that is being used for thinning hair is topical cover-ups, available as a spray, a cream or as particles. .

One such hair spray is a product called Toppik. This spray actually forms tiny microfibers that look like hair and are actually made of a material called keratin, which is a hair like substance. This spray is easy to use, taking no more than a minute to apply and is available in many colors, such as blonde, black, and browns. The only downfall may be it washes out easily, so continuous application would be required daily.

Another spray is Prothik, which is available in various color shades. This spray works by again reducing the contrast with your hair and scalp, but it also adds thickness and fullness to thinning hair. It will not rub off with exercise and can even be worn while swimming, but with shampoo and showering, it will rinse out.

Another possibility is a cream called Couvre, which is a concealing cream. With this product, it conceals any coloring or contrast between your hair and your scalp, any balding part of your head. It is safe to use following a hair transplant and is safe, non-greasy and does not rub off. It does however come off when showering.

Finally, in the particle form, there are products which act as hair keratin forming a bonding with your existing hair. One such example of this is Nanogen, which are fibers that are dyed to various hair colors and coated with a bonding material to promote static electricity.

With this product, you actually sprinkle the Nanogen fibers into your hair. The fibers bind with your real hair and you can style as you wish, mostly by using your fingers and not a brush. Once your hair is styled, there is a locking mist similar to a hair spray that helps bind the fibers to your hair. It is been shown that these hair fibers are not visible. They will stay in place all day and can withstand rain or wind. However, they can also be easily removed with shampoo hair washing.

Another similar product is called Hair So Real, which is actually artificial hair particles that are sprinkled on your thinning hair.

These products are best used with thinning hair. They help maintain fullness and reducing balding spots. These products are not recommended for an area of complete hair loss.

Additionally, these products are only temporary fixes. They will all wash out with a thorough shower and shampoo. However, they are great short term solutions.

With hair loss, there are many things people will try to prevent it. These range from medications to lotions to surgery. However, there are essential oils that can keep your hair and scalp healthy, promote hair growth and actually prevent hair loss. These oils are all natural and usually cause no harmful side effects.

Hair loss is common, but it is preventable. There are numerous essential oils that can have a positive effect on hair loss, including stimulating hair follicles promoting hair growth.

An aroma pot by the window

What essential oils can help hair growth?

Aromatherapy is one treatment that is a known hair loss cure. The oils used in this therapy can stimulate hair follicles and help hair growth. The best aromatherapy mixture includes oils extracted from bay, jojoba, cedar wood, grapefruit, and lavender.

Once these oils are mixed, they are massaged into your scalp. Another effective herbal combination is made from aloe, mulberries, brahmi, and honey, again mixed together.

With these aromatherapy treatments, your scalp will then absorb the oils, which will stimulate hair growth.

An additional possible treatment is adding drops of these essential oils into your own shampoo or conditioner. This is a simple process and you can use the following oils:

Basil: stimulates and promotes hair growth and improves scalp circulation.

Rosemary: increases scalp circulation, leading to stimulation of hair growth to prevent premature baldness.

Arnica: a hair rinse used to treat baldness

Sage: used to help reduce hair loss

Bay: actually helps hair grow, add drops to your shampoo and use on a regular basis.

Jojoba oils: healing properties for damaged hair, also prevents hair breakage.

Cypress: although it has many health benefits, hair loss can be related to stress, this oil is has a very calming and soothing effect.

Lavender: can be used as a stress reliever and to prevent dry skin and dandruff.

If these drops of essential oils are not enough, there are scalp massages and soakings that can be done with these various essential oils.

Another great oil for hair loss is olive oil, which has many benefits. It is easily accessible and does not spoil and can be kept just in your kitchen cupboards. How does this help with hair loss prevention? You can give yourself a hot oil treatment to prevent hair loss.

First, take a small bowl of olive oil and heat it, slightly, not to hot. Gently massage the olive oil into your scalp. Once the solution is on your hair, then comb your hair with a wide toothed comb and massage your scalp once more. You should let this solution stay in your hair for one hour. If possible, you can get even better results if you leave it in overnight. Once done, you should rinse the entire solution out and shampoo as normal. With this oil, you will see your hair strengthening. Additionally, with the massaging, you will stimulate your scalp and hair follicle circulation, which will help you hair grow.

The essential oils can keep your hair and scalp healthy and prevent continued hair loss.
